Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a dedicated Building Grounds Helper to maintain clean, safe facilities at our Dallas area operations. This full-time role focuses on housekeeping, restroom upkeep, and keeping production areas organized to support our manufacturing teams.

With a strong safety mindset, you will wear PPE, follow health and safety manuals, and report hazards. The position offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth within a national exterior building products

Qualifications

• Safe work performance is required from each Associate at all times.
• Perform all duties and responsibilities safely in accordance with applicable Health and Safety Manuals.
• Required to wear or use personal protective equipment as applicable and to immediately report unsafe working conditions.

Responsibilities

• Keeps work areas clean, neat and orderly; cleans and maintains production lines and facility areas.
• Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies manually or with hand cart.
• Perform minor repairs, including changing light bulbs, clearing drains and toilets, maintaining custodial equipment, and reporting repairs and safety hazards to supervisor.
• Maintain yard areas in a presentable, safe condition.

Job Description

Performs building and grounds housekeeping. Maintains appearance and function of restrooms, lunch and break areas, and grounds. Distributes common supplies to production areas.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Ensures a clean, neat and orderly work areas, cleans and maintains production lines & Facilities oreas.
