Cornerstone Building Brands is hiring a custodial professional for Ballinger, TX. You will perform interior and exterior cleaning, maintenance of offices and restrooms, and window cleaning to keep facilities clean and safe.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 to 3 years of previous professional custodial services preferred.
• Ability to read labels and understand instructions in order to mix and use cleaning chemicals correctly.
• Ability to operate various interior and exterior equipment.
• A combination of education and experience may be qualifying.

Responsibilities

• Perform interior and exterior professional custodial services.
• Dusting activities and cleaning duties; steam clean carpets, buff floors and wax as needed.
• Exterior janitorial tasks including windows, lawn maintenance, sidewalks, etc.
• Develop and coordinate a schedule for custodial maintenance services.
• Order and maintain supplies for housekeeping work.
• Comply with safety requirements and PPE usage.
• Clean work areas daily and perform equipment checks and preventative maintenance.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Description

Base pay rate is $15.00 per hour

Perform various interior and exterior professional janitorial and custodial services

Interior cleaning activities to include kitchen, restrooms and office areas

Dusting activities

Steam clean carpets, buff floors and wax as needed

Exterior janitorial activities to include windows, lawn maintenance, sidewalks, etc

Develop and coordinate a schedule for custodial maintenance services

Order and maintain supplies as necessary for housekeeping work

Comply with all safety requirements and use all applicable personal protective equipment (PPE)

Clean work area daily and perform preventative maintenance and equipment checks

Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
