Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a facilities/housekeeping associate to perform building and grounds maintenance at our Dallas, TX location. You will ensure clean, neat production areas and assist with supplies distribution in a safe environment.

Responsibilities include moving heavy items, minor repairs, and reporting safety hazards. The role emphasizes adherence to health and safety standards and proper use of PPE.

Performs building and grounds housekeeping. Maintains appearance and function of restrooms, lunch and break areas, and grounds. Distributes common supplies to production areas.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Ensures a clean, neat and orderly work areas, cleans and maintains production lines & Facilities oreas.
• Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies manually or with hand cart
• Perform minor repairs, including changing light bulbs, clearing clogged drains and toilets, maintaining custodial equipment, and reporting repairs and safety hazards to supervisor.
• Maintain yard areas in a presentable, safe condition.

Qualifications

• Safe work performance is required from each Associate at all times
• Perform all duties and responsibilities safely in accordance with applicable Health and Safety Manuals
• Required to wear or use personal protective equipment as applicable and to immediately report unsafe working conditions
• Comply with all legislative requirements as outlined by Occupational Health and Safety Act and regulations
• To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required

Additional Information
