Job summary

Jackson County Missouri is seeking a reliable custodian for the Public Works/Facilities department. The role involves custodial duties in assigned areas, following standard operating procedures, and assisting building tenants with maintenance requests.

Evening shift supports operations after typical business hours. Minimum qualifications include a High School Diploma or equivalent, no prior experience required, and the ability to pass a background check and drug screen.

Qualifications

• Must possess/maintain a valid Driver’s License or State Issued ID.
• Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Perform custodial duties in assigned areas according to standard SOPs and assist tenants with maintenance requests.
• May be assigned to any 8-hour shift.
• May be required to respond to emergencies as needed.

Job Duties

• Responsible for custodial duties at assigned areas in accordance with the standard operating procedures for housekeeping and assists building tenants with miscellaneous work requests and maintenance of building.
• May be assigned to any 8 hour shift
• May be required to respond to an emergency basis

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or its equivalent.
• No work-related experience required.
• Must possess/maintain a valid Driver’s License or State Issued ID.
• Must submit to and pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
