Job summary

Dominican Oaks is seeking a dedicated Custodian to maintain common and office areas in a clean, orderly condition at our retirement community in Santa Cruz. You will help create a welcoming, safe environment by performing daily cleaning tasks and stocking supplies, while committing to our mission and values through reliable, detail-oriented service.

Responsibilities include cleaning common areas, preparing vacant units, setting up meeting spaces, and scheduling monthly carpet cleaning.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED.
• Six to nine months related experience and/or training; or Equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Performs general cleaning of common areas including carpet cleaning, vacuuming, dusting, polishing, sweeping, mopping.
• Stocks bathroom and cleaning supplies; empties resident trash and recycling in common areas.
• Prepares vacant apartments for new residents.
• Sets up meeting spaces for use by various groups.
• Prepares schedule for carpet cleaning of all building areas and submits to supervisor each month.

Every day you will perform a variety of cleaning duties, ensuring all assigned spaces meet our high standards of cleanliness, and consistently apply the Dominican Oaks philosophy in every task.
