The person in this position must be able to work, communicate and cooperate with others and perform the following duties with little or no supervision.

• Scrapes food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or places them in racks.
• Washes pots, pans and trays after meal preparation and serving.
• Operates dish washing machine.
• Returns clean items to proper location.
• Utilizes cleaning supplies within budgetary guidelines.
• Collects and places garbage and trash in designated containers.

Job Requirements

• High School Graduate or GED or combined experience.
• Six months related experience and/or training or Equivalent combination of education and experience
• Must have ability to read, write, speak and understand English
• Ability to follow instructions and demonstrate good judgment and problem solving skills
