Job summary

The Salvation Army in Ohio seeks a part-time Facilities Cleaner to clean, maintain and repair Salvation Army facilities and properties, and support related responsibilities.

Reporting to the Corps Officer, the role requires a high school diploma and at least 2 years of cleaning experience. A Salvation Army background check is mandatory to join the team.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of cleaning experience.
• Must clear Salvation Army Criminal Background Check.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all aspects of property located at the South Wayne Street complex.
• Clean, paint, remove refuse as directed by Corps Officer.
• Monitor janitorial supplies and maintain inventory through interaction with Corps Officer.
• Set up and take down all areas for programs and services.
• Maintain grounds, including mowing, weeding, snow removal.
• Unload food and donation trucks and put items away in proper places.
• Move items to and from warehouse as needed.
• Arrange donation pick up with Adult Rehab Center.
• Assist with loading canteen for summer lunch program.
• Assist with moving food for food pantry.
