Job summary

ImageFIRST is seeking a Custodian in Medley, FL to maintain a clean and safe facility. The role supports production by cleaning floors, restrooms, and common areas, with routine upkeep and basic maintenance tasks.

The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule, 7am–3:30pm, with weekly pay. Candidates should be comfortable with chemicals and possess basic maintenance skills and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Comfortable working with cleaning chemicals and products.
• Basic maintenance and tool handling skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Self-motivated and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
• Gather and empty trash.
• Service, clean, and supply restrooms.
• Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment.
• Provide light maintenance to equipment.
• Move products as needed to support production.
• Daily equipment upkeep and safety inspections.
• Keep production area and facilities clean and neat.
• Communicate with other departments to assist with production.
• Cross-train in multiple areas to support operations.

Pay Rate - $18/hr.

Schedule - Monday - Friday 7am - 330pm

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Custodian will be responsible for the maintenance of the facility or plant, and will p rovide assistance where needed.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING

• Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them
• Gather and empty trash
• Service, clean, and supply restrooms
• Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment
• Provide light maintenance to equipment
• Move product as needed to facilitate production processes
• Daily equipment upkeep/safety inspections
• Keep production area & facilities clean and neat
• Perform basic routine maintenance on equipment
• Perform basic routine upkeep on facilities
• Responsible for communicating with other departments to assist with production
• Associate will be crossed trained in multiple areas to help as needed

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or its equivalent
• Must be comfortable working around chemicals and other cleaning products
• Must have basic maintenance skills
• Must be comfortable working independently
• Must be self-motivated, able to complete a task to the best of her ability under little or no supervision

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds required
• Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment
• Work involves frequent lifting of materials up to 30 pounds
• Machinery and tool operation require the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to; eye safety glasses, hearing protectors, work boots, and hardhats;loose fitting clothes and jewelry are not permitted
