Job summary

ImageFIRST Healthcare Laundry Specialists in Missouri is hiring for a Custodian responsible for facility maintenance and support across production areas. The role requires cleaning, basic maintenance, and safe handling of cleaning chemicals, with cross-training across departments to assist production as needed.

Starting pay is $16.00 per hour, with day shifts: 6:00 am–2:30 pm or 10:30 am–6:30 pm. Candidates should be able to lift up to 30 pounds and work in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or its equivalent required.
• Must be comfortable around chemicals and cleaning products.
• Must have basic maintenance skills and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
• Gather and empty trash; service, clean, and supply restrooms.
• Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment; provide light maintenance.
• Move products to facilitate production and perform daily equipment upkeep.
• Communicate with other departments to assist with production; cross-trained in multiple areas.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Custodian will be responsible for the maintenance of the facility or plant, and will provide assistance where needed.

Starting pay per hour is $16.00

6:00 am-2:30 pm and 10:30 am-6:30 pm

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

• Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them
• Gather and empty trash
• Service, clean, and supply restrooms
• Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment
• Provide light maintenance to equipment
• Move product as needed to facilitate production processes
• Daily equipment upkeep/safety inspections
• Keep production area & facilities clean and neat
• Perform basic routine maintenance on equipment
• Perform basic routine upkeep on facilities
• Responsible for communicating with other departments to assist with production
• Associate will be crossed trained in multiple areas to help as needed

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or its equivalent
• Must be comfortable working around chemicals and other cleaning products
• Must have basic maintenance skills
• Must be comfortable working independently
• Must be self-motivated, able to complete a task to the best of her ability under little or no supervision

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds required
• Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment
• Work involves frequent lifting of materials up to 30 pounds
• Machinery and tool operation require the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to; eye safety glasses, hearing protectors, work boots, and hardhats;loose fitting clothes and jewelry are not permitted
