Job summary

Advance Services Inc. in Iowa City, IA is seeking a full-time custodian for a Monday–Friday schedule with every other weekend. Shift: 7:30 AM–4:00 PM. Pay: $16.97/hr. This role requires physical work and reliable attendance.

Duties include moving furniture and supplies, removing draperies and rugs for cleaning, delivering supplies, trash removal, window cleaning, floor scrubbing with an auto scrubber, and dusting, mopping, sweeping and vacuuming.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform a physically demanding position.
• Able to fluently speak, read and write English.
• Maintain excellent attendance.
• Ability to learn and follow direction.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Move furniture, supplies, and misc. equipment.
• Removes draperies and rugs periodically for cleaning.
• Delivers supplies to various areas.
• Taking out trash.
• Cleaning windows.
• Using an Auto scrubber on the floors.
