HIGHLAND SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 203 is seeking a Custodian to maintain an attractive, sanitary, and safe campus for students, staff, and the public. The role includes preparing facilities for meetings and events, and ensuring equipment and furniture are arranged appropriately.

The custodian will be assigned to multiple buildings, assist with event cleanup, and cover other shifts as needed. The position is eight hours per day on a 260-day schedule, starting September 1, 2026.

Job description

The job of Custodian is for the purpose/s of creating an attractive, sanitary, and safe campus for students, staff and public; providing equipment and furniture arrangements for meetings, classroom activities and events; and minimizing property damage, loss, and liability exposure. The custodian will be assigned to various buildings, event cleanup, and other shifts as needed. This position is eight (8) hours per day for a 260-day schedule and begins September 1, 2026.
