You will sweep classrooms, dust furniture, and dispose of refuse daily, clean corridors after school, and scrub and disinfect restrooms and fixtures.

Qualifications

• Clean and maintain floors, walls, and fixtures to ensure safety and cleanliness.
• Ability to scrub, disinfect, and handle cleaning chemicals per policy.

Responsibilities

• Sweep classrooms, dust furniture and shelving, and dispose of refuse daily in assigned work areas.
• Clean corridors after school each day and during the day when conditions require it.
• Scrub and disinfect toilet room floors and clean all sanitary fixtures and drinking fountains in assigned work areas daily.
• Maintain all floors in a clean and attractive condition as well as in a good state of preservation.

Reporting to the Director of Facilities, a Custodian's responsibility is to provide a safe, attractive, clean and comfortable environment for students, staff and the general public.
