Job summary

HHS is seeking a Custodian at Calvary Christian High School in Florida to join a friendly, hard-working housekeeping team. The role offers an evening shift with full-time status and requires a background check and drug screen. The wage is $15 per hour, and eligibility proof is required.

You will work on campus to maintain classrooms, restrooms, cafeterias, and other facilities. Responsibilities include cleaning, following HHS procedures, floor care, and assisting teammates.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must practice good personal hygiene and be neatly groomed in a uniform.
• Communicate effectively in English and work well in a team environment.
• Preferred: Custodial experience (cleaning, housekeeping, environmental services, custodian, janitorial, room attendant, floor care technician)

• Clean assigned areas of the university campus, including classrooms, common areas, restrooms, cafeterias, and more.
• Follow all HHS cleaning procedures and best practices.
• Provide friendly and kind service to all individuals on campus.

• Perform floor stripping and extraction projects as assigned.
• Assist team members and management as needed to help the department operate efficiently

Physical Requirements

• Standing, walking, squatting, bending, twisting, kneeling, and reaching continuously throughout a shift
• Pushing and pulling carts or equipment (over 100 lb.) on tile and carpeted floors continuously throughout a shift
• Must handle chemicals including bleach, wax, and disinfectants
• Must be able to operate equipment necessary to perform essential functions of the job
