Job summary

HHS Education Services, LLC seeks a team-oriented cleaning supervisor to support Houston Community College. The role involves supervising staff, inspecting facilities, managing supplies, and assisting with payroll and administrative tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment.

Position offers day/evening/night shifts with pay at $15/hour; requires 18+, English proficiency, and a neat appearance. Background check and drug screen are required. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Communicate effectively in English and work well in a team environment.
• Must practice good personal hygiene, be neatly groomed, and be in uniform.
• GED or high school diploma.
• Experience as a supervisor preferred.
• Preferred: Housekeeping experience (cleaning, environmental services, custodian, janitorial, room attendant, floor care technician, hotel operations, healthcare).

Responsibilities

• Oversee team members and assign cleaning duties to ensure coverage of all areas
• Perform daily inspections and maintain quality control programs
• Manage supplies and ensure team members have the equipment necessary to complete job assignments
• Assist with payroll and administrative duties as assigned
• Assist with cleaning areas of the facility as needed to ensure full coverage
• Follow all HHS cleaning procedures and best practices
• Provide friendly and kind service to all individuals
• Assist team members and management as needed to help the department operate efficiently

Pay Rate: Hourly - Hourly Plan, 15.00 USD

Hourly Work Shift: Job Description Responsibilities Wage: $15/hour

Full-time and part-time positions available. Day/Evening/Night shifts available.

Physical Requirements

• Standing, walking, squatting, bending, twisting, kneeling, and reaching continuously throughout a shift
• Pushing and pulling carts or equipment (over 100 lb.) on tile and carpeted floors continuously throughout a shift
• Must handle chemicals including bleach, wax, and disinfectants
• Must be able to operate equipment necessary to perform essential functions of the job
