Job summary

HHS Education Services, LLC (USA) is seeking friendly, compassionate housekeeping staff to join the team at Marshall University in Huntington, WV. This full-time role offers evening/night shifts and pays $11.56 per hour.

Applicants must pass a background check, drug screen, and provide proof of eligibility to work in the U.S. Responsibilities include cleaning classrooms, restrooms, cafeterias, and other areas; following cleaning procedures; and supporting the team to ensure efficient department

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must practice good personal hygiene and be neatly groomed in a uniform.
• Communicate effectively in English and work well in a team environment.

• Clean assigned areas of the university campus, including classrooms, common areas, restrooms, cafeterias, and more.
• Follow all cleaning procedures and best practices.
• Perform cleaning, buffing, and bonneting to maintain floors.
• Perform floor stripping and extraction projects as assigned.
• Support team members and management to help the department operate efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Custodian Wage: $11.56/hour
• Full-time position available
• Evening/Night shifts available
• Background check, drug screen, and proof of employment eligibility required
• Location: Marshall University
• Clean assigned areas of the university campus, including classrooms, common areas, restrooms, cafeterias, and more
• Follow all HHS cleaning procedures and best practices
• Provide friendly and kind service to all individuals on campus
• Perform cleaning, buffing, and bonneting procedures to maintain floors
• Perform floor stripping and extraction projects as assigned
• Assist team members and management as needed to help the department operate efficiently

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must practice good personal hygiene and be neatly groomed in a uniform
• Communicate effectively in English and work well in a team environment
• Preferred: Custodial experience (cleaning, housekeeping, environmental services, custodian, janitorial, room attendant, floor care technician)

Physical Requirements

• Standing, walking, squatting, bending, twisting, kneeling, and reaching continuously throughout a shift
• Pushing and pulling carts or equipment (over 100 lb.) on tile and carpeted floors continuously throughout a shift
• Must handle chemicals including bleach, wax, and disinfectants
• Must be able to operate equipment necessary to perform essential functions of the job
