Job summary

HHS Education Services, LLC (USA) at Tri-County Technical College is seeking a friendly custodian for the morning shift. This full-time, on-site role pays $13 per hour and offers a day shift schedule.

You will clean classrooms, restrooms, cafeterias, and common areas, follow cleaning procedures, and assist the team to keep the campus spotless and safe. Requirements include being 18+, English communication, and teamwork; background check and drug screen are required.

• Perform cleaning, buffing, and bonneting procedures to maintain floors.
• Perform floor stripping and extraction projects as assigned.
• Assist team members and management as needed to help the department operate efficiently.

Job Description We’re looking for friendly, compassionate, team players to join our housekeeping team!

Responsibilities

• Custodian Wage: $13/hour
• Full-time position available
• Day shift available
• Background check, drug screen, and proof of employment eligibility required
• Location: Tri-County Technical College
• Clean assigned areas of the university campus, including classrooms, common areas, restrooms, cafeterias, and more
• Follow all HHS cleaning procedures and best practices
• Provide friendly and kind service to all individuals on campus
• Perform cleaning, buffing, and bonneting procedures to maintain floors
• Perform floor stripping and extraction projects as assigned
• Assist team members and management as needed to help the department operate efficiently

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must practice good personal hygiene and be neatly groomed in a uniform
• Communicate effectively in English and work well in a team environment
• Preferred: Custodial experience (cleaning, housekeeping, environmental services, custodian, janitorial, room attendant, floor care technician)

Physical Requirements

• Standing, walking, squatting, bending, twisting, kneeling, and reaching continuously throughout a shift
• Pushing and pulling carts or equipment (over 100 lb.) on tile and carpeted floors continuously throughout a shift
• Must handle chemicals including bleach, wax, and disinfectants
• Must be able to operate equipment necessary to perform essential functions of the job
