Job summary

HHS Environmental Services, LLC (USA) is seeking to fill evening shift housekeeping roles at Christus Highland Medical Center. Join a team that maintains a high level of cleanliness and safety to support patient healing in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities include supervising team members, ensuring full coverage, conducting inspections, managing supplies, and assisting with payroll and administrative tasks. Prior experience in healthcare housekeeping is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Communicate effectively in English and work well in a team environment.
• Must practice good personal hygiene, be neatly groomed, and be in uniform.

• Perform daily inspections and maintain quality control programs
• Manage supplies and ensure team members have the equipment necessary to complete job assignments
• Assist with payroll and administrative duties as assigned
• Assist with cleaning areas of the hospital as needed to ensure full coverage
• Follow all HHS cleaning procedures and best practices
• Provide friendly and kind service to all individuals in the hospital
• Assist team members and management as needed to help the department operate efficiently

Job Description

We’re looking for friendly, compassionate, team players to join our housekeeping team! Support the housekeeping (EVS) department leadership to maintain a high level of cleanliness and consistency throughout all areas of the hospital. Create a safe, clean, and comfortable environment where patients can heal.

Wage

$16/hour

Job Details

Full-time and part-time positions available. Evening shifts available.

Background check, drug screen, and proof of employment eligibility required.

Location: Christus Schumpert Highland - EVS

Veterans and candidates with military experience are encouraged to apply.

Preferred

• Housekeeping experience (cleaning, environmental services, custodian, janitorial, room attendant, floor care technician, hotel operations, healthcare)
• Experience as a supervisor preferred

Physical Requirements

• Standing, walking, squatting, bending, twisting, kneeling, and reaching continuously throughout a shift
• Pushing and pulling carts or equipment (over 100 lb.) on tile and carpeted floors continuously throughout a shift
• Must handle chemicals including bleach, wax, and disinfectants
• Must be able to operate equipment necessary to perform essential functions of the job
