Job summary

HHS Education Services, LLC is seeking custodial staff for McNeese State University. Evening/Night shifts are available, with full-time and part-time positions. A background check, drug screen, and proof of employment eligibility in the U.S. are required. Join a friendly housekeeping team focused on clean, safe campuses.

Positions involve cleaning classrooms, restrooms, dining areas, and floors, following established procedures and ensuring quality service to the campus community.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Maintain good personal hygiene and neat uniform.
• Strong English communication and teamwork.
• Preferred: custodial/housekeeping experience.

Responsibilities

• Clean assigned areas of the university campus, including classrooms, common areas, restrooms, cafeterias, and more
• Follow all HHS cleaning procedures and best practices
• Provide friendly and kind service to all individuals on campus
• Perform cleaning, buffing, and bonneting procedures to maintain floors
• Perform floor stripping and extraction projects as assigned
• Assist team members and management as needed to help the department operate efficiently

Job Description

Custodial Positions Wage: $12.50/hour Full-time and part-time positions available Evening/Night shifts available Background check, drug screen, and proof of employment eligibility required Location: McNeese State University We’re looking for friendly, compassionate, team players to join our housekeeping team!

• Clean assigned areas of the university campus, including classrooms, common areas, restrooms, cafeterias, and more
• Follow all HHS cleaning procedures and best practices
• Provide friendly and kind service to all individuals on campus
• Perform cleaning, buffing, and bonneting procedures to maintain floors
• Perform floor stripping and extraction projects as assigned
• Assist team members and management as needed to help the department operate efficiently

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must practice good personal hygiene and be neatly groomed in a uniform
• Communicate effectively in English and work well in a team environment
• Preferred: Custodial experience (cleaning, housekeeping, environmental services, custodian, janitorial, room attendant, floor care technician)

Physical Requirements

• Standing, walking, squatting, bending, twisting, kneeling, and reaching continuously throughout a shift
• Pushing and pulling carts or equipment (over 100 lb.) on tile and carpeted floors continuously throughout a shift
• Must handle chemicals including bleach, wax, and disinfectants
• Must be able to operate equipment necessary to perform essential functions of the job
