We are seeking a reliable and diligent Custodian to join our team in Granger Lake, Texas. As a Custodian, your primary responsibility will be to maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of our buildings, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This position involves performing a range of cleaning and maintenance tasks on two days a week, with 3-5 hours per cleaning, from 10am to 3pm, at a rate of $19 an hour.

Responsibilities:

• Keep buildings in a clean and orderly condition, including offices, common areas, and restrooms.
• Clean, sanitize, and maintain bathrooms to ensure high hygiene standards.
• Dust, polish, and wipe furniture and fixtures.
• Empty and wash garbage bins, and handle recycling procedures.
• Perform heavy cleaning duties such as floor cleaning, rug shampooing, and stain removal.
• Operate and maintain power cleaning equipment safely.
• Secure the building and doors when not in use to maintain security.
• Follow safety procedures when handling cleaning chemicals and hazards.

Requirements:

• Ability to move, carry, and store items as needed for cleaning tasks.
• Physical capability to walk, stand, kneel, reach, and perform other physical duties.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions accurately.
• Team player capable of working effectively with others.
• Reliable, punctual, and dependable in performing daily tasks.
• Previous experience in cleaning or maintenance is a plus.
