Job summary

SA Recycling is seeking an experienced, cheerful Custodian to clean and maintain offices, breakrooms, restrooms, locker rooms, and common areas. The role involves light travel between two yard sites and exposure to outdoor elements.

Applicants should have a High School diploma or GED, and at least 1 year of custodial experience. Bilingual English/Spanish a plus. Offers include health benefits, 401k, weekly pay, and advancement opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain internal and external facility conditions according to company standards.
• Sweep, mop, scrub, vacuum, and restock offices, breakrooms, restrooms, and locker rooms.
• Identify needed repairs and report to the General Manager.
• Perform general maintenance like changing HVAC filters and light bulbs.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Ensure cleanliness of all common areas and storage spaces.
• Maintain punctual attendance as a core function.

SA Recycling is looking for a experienced, cheerful, and dependable Custodian who takes pride in their work. As a Custodian you will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining our offices, breakrooms, restrooms, locker rooms, and common areas as set forth by company standards. In performing these duties, you may be exposed to outdoor elements in all seasons.

The work for this position will be split to two different yard. Light traveling required.

Responsibilities Of a Custodian

• Maintain internal and external facility conditions as set forth by company standards and procedures.
• Sweep, mop, scrub, vacuum, and restock common areas, offices, breakrooms, restrooms, and locker rooms.
• Identify needed repairs to facilities and properties and bring to the attention of the General Manager.
• Perform general maintenance functions such as replacing HVAC filters, changing light bulbs, and replacing damaged ceiling tiles, etc.
• Maintain adequate inventory of all cleaning supplies and materials.
• Continuously monitor and address all common areas, offices, breakrooms, restrooms, and locker rooms for cleanliness.
• Keep supply closets and storage areas neat and orderly.
• Regular and punctual attendance are essential job functions.

Qualifications Of a Custodian

• High School diploma, GED Certification, or equivalent work experience.
• 1-year previous custodial experience.
• Bi-lingual (English and Spanish) a plus.
• Ability to carry out instructions provided in written, oral, or diagrammatic form.
• Ability to learn new tasks as assigned required.
