Job summary

SA Recycling is seeking an experienced Custodian to clean and maintain offices, breakrooms, restrooms, locker rooms, and common areas across two yard locations. The role includes light travel between sites and adherence to company cleaning standards.

Applicants should have a High School diploma or GED and at least 1 year of custodial experience; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus, with the ability to follow written or spoken instructions and learn new tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED Certification, or equivalent work experience.
• 1-year custodial experience preferred.
• Bi-lingual (English and Spanish) a plus.
• Ability to carry out instructions provided in written, oral, or diagrammatic form.
• Ability to learn new tasks as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Maintain internal and external facility conditions as set forth by company standards and procedures.
• Sweep, mop, scrub, vacuum, and restock common areas, offices, breakrooms, restrooms, and locker rooms.
• Identify needed repairs to facilities and properties and bring to the attention of the General Manager.
• Perform general maintenance functions such as replacing HVAC filters, changing light bulbs, and replacing damaged ceiling tiles, etc.
• Maintain adequate inventory of all cleaning supplies and materials.
• Continuously monitor and address all common areas, offices, breakrooms, restrooms, and locker rooms for cleanliness.
• Keep supply closets and storage areas neat and orderly.
• Regular and punctual attendance are essential job functions.

SA Recycling is looking for a experienced, cheerful, and dependable Custodian who takes pride in their work. As a Custodian you will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining our offices, breakrooms, restrooms, locker rooms, and common areas as set forth by company standards. In performing these duties, you may be exposed to outdoor elements in all seasons.

The work for this position will be split to two different yard. Light traveling required.
