Job summary

Compass Group USA’s ESFM division is seeking a full-time Lead Janitor in Irving, TX, with a 3:00 pm–11:30 pm schedule (Mon–Fri). This role combines hands-on cleaning with team leadership and training responsibilities.

You will train custodial staff, oversee cleaning methods and equipment use, ensure safety and compliance, and coordinate with the training coordinator. The position offers benefits and opportunities for growth within a hospitality-driven facilities team.

Qualifications

• Janitorial and leadership experience required.
• Experience training and supervising custodial staff is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conducts classroom and hands-on training on customer service, safety and policy compliance.
• Provides one-on-one training as needed.
• Updates training on janitorial equipment, PPE and chemical safety.
• Copies and revises training materials; handles administrative tasks.
• Reviews trainee records to ensure compliance.
• Conducts monthly safety performance reviews to meet OSHA and company standards.
• Oversees walk-through building inspections and supports on-site safety.
