Job summary

ESFM is hiring a full-time Lead Janitor at our Irving, TX location (J&J Mentor). This leadership role oversees custodial teams, conducts training, and ensures compliance with safety and cleaning standards. Shift is Monday through Friday, 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm.

The ideal candidate has janitorial and leadership experience. Pay ranges from $19.00 to $19.50 per hour. ESFM offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities within Compass Group USA.

Qualifications

• Must have janitorial and leadership experience.
• Ability to conduct training and coaching for custodial staff.
• Familiarity with safety, compliance, and OSHA policies.

Responsibilities

• Conducts classroom and hands-on training on customer service, safety, compliance and company policies.
• Conducts one-on-one training as needed.
• Updates and provides training on use of janitorial equipment, PPE and chemical usage/safety.
• Copies training material and revises material as needed; conducts administrative tasks as requested.
• Provides feedback on new associates during orientation period; reviews trainee records to ensure successful compliance.
• Provides recommendations to training coordinator for disciplinary action as appropriate.
• Performs reviews, e.g., monthly safety performance review, to ensure compliance with policies.
• Performs walk-through building inspections as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
