Job summary

FirstService Residential in Delray Beach, FL is hiring a Janitor to perform cleaning and maintenance across assigned community properties. The role may involve indoor interiors, outdoor exteriors, or a combination, with a schedule of Tue-Sat 8:30am-5pm and pay of $19 per hour.

You will inspect work, report to the Supervisor, and ensure safety and sanitation standards are met. This full-time position offers comprehensive benefits and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency preferred.
• Previous custodial experience preferred.
• Multilingual abilities are desirable.
• Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills required.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of cleaning/maintenance duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash disposal and light bulb replacement.
• Informs Supervisor of needed supplies and safety concerns.
• Maintains cleaning solutions per OSHA guidelines.
• Inspects assigned areas daily and reports discrepancies.
• Ensures security procedures and safety precautions are followed.
• Completes daily work orders and maintains supplies and equipment.
• Cleans restrooms and maintains cleanliness throughout common areas.
