Job summary

Zing Recruiting seeks a Custodial Technician in Lebanon, OH, working a 5pm-5:30am 2-2-3 schedule. The role maintains building cleanliness across break and production areas, interacting with multiple departments and contractors. A High School Diploma and 1+ year custodial experience are preferred, with basic computer skills required.

• 1+ years custodial experience, especially in industrial or construction settings.
• Flavor industry experience is a plus.
• Basic computer knowledge and skills required.

Responsibilities

• Clean, dust, and wipe furniture.
• Sweep, mop, or vacuum floors and stairs.
• Empty/clean wastebaskets and trash containers.
• Refill restroom dispensers.
• Wash accessible interior and exterior windows.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms & shower rooms.
• Strip, buff and apply floor sealer/finish on hard floors.
• Move furniture, equipment, and supplies as needed.
• Follow procedures for chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage.
• Use and maintain buffers, auto scrubbers, extractors, and vacuums for maintenance.
• Adhere to OSHA, EPA, GMP, and health/safety guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Custodial Technician

Lebanon, OH | 5pm-5:30am 2-2-3 schedule | $20-22hr.

The Custodial Technician is generally responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of building, including employee break and production areas. Interacts with all internal Departments and external Contractors, Vendors, Auditors, and Customers. Key competencies: Analytical Skills, Communication and Interpersonal Skills, Time Management and Self-Motivation Skills, and Mathematical and Computer Skills.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Clean, dust, and wipe furniture.
• Sweep, mop, or vacuum floors and stairs.
• Empty/clean wastebaskets, trash containers, and cigarette urns.
• Refill restroom dispensers.
• Wash accessible interior and exterior windows.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms & shower rooms using established practices and procedure.
• Strip, clean, buff and apply floor sealer and floor finish to hard surface floors.
• Wash walls and equipment, using ladders when required in work assignments.
• Assist with the movement of furniture, equipment, supplies, and tools on an incidental basis.
• Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
• Use and maintain assigned power equipment and hand tools, including buffers, auto scrubbers, extractors, high pressure washers, high speed buffers and vacuums, brooms, mops, and squeegees for the cleaning and general maintenance of floors, walls, carpets, furniture, etc.
• Support and enforce all policies, such as OSHA, EPA, and GMP rules, and health and safety regulations and guidelines, etc.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• 1+ years of custodial experience with industrial or construction backgrounds preferred.
• Flavor industry desired.
• Basic computer knowledge and skills.
