Job summary

Chimes in Maryland is seeking a Custodian to maintain cleaning and building services in public and work spaces, including executive areas. Shift is Monday to Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm, on-site.

You will follow contract specifications, keep areas spotless, restrooms clean, and assist with special restoration tasks as needed. Prior custodial experience preferred; high school diploma preferred. Competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Six months of custodial work experience preferred.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods; lift up to 25 lbs regularly.

Responsibilities

• Comply with agency policies and contract specifications.
• Clean restrooms and public areas to contract standards.
• Descale showers, toilets, urinals; maintain cleanliness of surfaces.
• Move, lift and arrange heavy items as required.
• Attend required trainings and report on time.
• Ensure tools and cleaning supplies are stored safely.
