Job summary

Chimes International Limited is seeking a Custodian for day shift in Washington. You will perform daily cleaning and lead a small team to meet contract standards, mentor new hires, and report on work quality.

Flexibility to handle emergencies and assist with special events is required. Responsibilities include cleaning restrooms, floors, kitchens, and common areas, maintaining supplies, and ensuring safety procedures are followed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Six months of custodial experience preferred.
• Custodial training desired.
• Candidates with disabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Comply with all Agency policies and procedures and follow contract specifications
• Perform daily cleaning functions while also leading team in day-to-day activities
• Act as mentor to newly hired custodians
• Clean and disinfect restrooms and washable surfaces in public areas
• Move, arrange, and lift heavy items
• Assist with special events by setting up and taking down furniture
• Perform emergency cleaning
