Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year custodial work experience required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Must be able to pass security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Sweeps and mops hallways, stairs and offices.
• Empties waste and recycling containers.
• Work various shifts with various supervisors per contract.
• Clean restrooms, lockers, showers and drinking fountains.
• Buffs floors, strips and waxes floor surfaces.
• Cleans glass and interior windows.
• Cleans walls and other surfaces.
• Performs snow removal as needed per contract.
• Trains employees on tasks.
• Vacuum carpets and floors; shampoo carpets.
• Drives company vehicle to transport supplies or staff.
• Maintains issued equipment.
• Notifies supervisor when supplies/equipment are needed.
• Supervises and inspects daily activities.
• Assumes crew responsibility during foreman absence.
• Performs other duties as assigned by Custodial Foreman
