Melwood in Annapolis, MD is seeking a custodial professional to perform cleaning tasks and supervise crews under the Custodial Foreman. The role requires passing criminal history checks, drug screening, and the ability to obtain government security clearance.

Typical duties include sweeping, mopping, restroom cleaning, floor maintenance, and vehicle transport for supplies and staff. This is an on-site position with standard day shifts. A valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year custodial work experience required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Must be able to pass security clearance.

Responsabilités

• Sweeps and mops hallways, stairs and offices.
• Empties waste and recycling containers.
• Work various shifts with various supervisors per contract.
• Clean restrooms, lockers, showers and drinking fountains.
• Buffs floors, strips and waxes floor surfaces.
• Cleans glass and interior windows.
• Cleans walls and other surfaces.
• Performs snow removal as needed per contract.
• Trains employees on tasks.
• Vacuum carpets and floors; shampoo carpets.
• Drives company vehicle to transport supplies or staff.
• Maintains issued equipment.
• Notifies supervisor when supplies/equipment are needed.
• Supervises and inspects daily activities.
• Assumes crew responsibility during foreman absence.
• Performs other duties as assigned by Custodial Foreman
