Job Description

• Experience in grounds maintenance and custodial
• Responsible to maintaining assigned areas; in the buildings and the grounds.
• Responsible for maintaining daily assigned areas in a neat, clean, and sanitary manner, in keeping with District-Wide standards of excellence.
• Must have the ability to use various types of cleaning products and equipment, both powered and non-powered, and must be able to move furniture out of classrooms and offices and move back.
• In keeping with District-Wide standards of excellence, must be able to do half the day of custodial duties and half a day of snow removal of driveways and sidewalks, minor building repairs.
• Must have the ability to use various types of grounds and custodial equipment, both powered and non-powered.
• Such alternatives to the above qualifications as either the School Committee or Superintendent may find acceptable
• Must be able to lift 60 lbs. and be walking or standing the entire shift, must be able to do snow removal.
• Must be flexible in hours due to snow storms and school events (mainly 6:00am-2:00pm) or for example 5:00 am for snow removal.

Salary Range $41,700 to $53,200 dependent upon relative and negotiated work experience Position Type: Full-time
