Job summary

Quabbin Regional High School and Quabbin Regional Middle School in Barre, MA are seeking a full-time Custodian (2nd Shift) to join the district’s facilities team. The position supports both the middle and high school environments with a focus on cleanliness and safety.

The 2 PM - 10 PM shift offers a stable schedule with expectations to lift up to 60 lbs and stand or walk for the duration of the shift. Starting wage is $18 per hour, with district-wide standards guiding daily operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in custodial responsibilities for academic buildings.
• Ability to maintain areas in a neat, clean, and sanitary manner per district standards.
• Comfort with cleaning products and equipment, powered and non-powered.

Responsibilities

• Maintain assigned school areas to district standards.
• Operate and use cleaning equipment and products safely and effectively.
• Be flexible to shift changes and fulfill duties as assigned.
