Job summary

AOE International is seeking a Training Manager to lead all instruction at the assigned Hub. The role owns the CEJA Core Competencies and Career Pathways curricula, builds the cohort calendar and capacity plan, and supervises 4 to 8 instructors while teaching part of the Construction Career Cluster foundation.

Responsibilities include finalizing lesson plans, coordinating solar/electrical/EVSE labs, managing OSHA/NABCEP credentials, and coordinating with employers through the advisory group.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in electrical, solar or construction trades or technical training.
• Experience designing curriculum, assessments or lab instruction.
• Experience supervising instructors or leading a crew.
• NABCEP or equivalent credential preferred.
• Ability to connect with adult learners from underrepresented communities.

Responsibilities

• Finalize lesson plans, assessments and lab exercises aligned with the curriculum.
• Build the cohort calendar and provide the training capacity plan.
• Hire, schedule, observe and coach instructors; ensure instructor requirements are met.
• Set up and maintain solar, electrical and EVSE labs; ensure safety and tool control.
• Manage credentialing requirements: OSHA, NABCEP, and related exams.
• Teach Construction Career Cluster foundation when needed.
• Review attendance and results; arrange tutoring and re-assessment.
• Present curriculum results to the employer advisory group.
