Job summary

AOE International seeks a Training Manager to lead instruction at the assigned Hub, own the CEJA Core Competencies curriculum, and supervise 4–8 instructors. The role includes building the cohort calendar, planning training capacity, and teaching part of the Construction Career Cluster foundation.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in electrical, solar or construction trades or technical training, plus curriculum design and instructor leadership experience.

Qualifications

• Five+ years in electrical, solar or construction trades or technical training.
• Experience designing curriculum, assessments or lab instruction for occupational training.
• Experience supervising instructors or leading a crew.
• NABCEP certification or equivalent credential preferred.
• Ability to connect with adult learners from underrepresented communities.

Responsibilities

• Finalize lesson plans, assessments and labs aligned to the curriculum framework.
• Build cohort calendars and capacity plans for training programs.
• Hire, schedule, observe and coach instructors; ensure compliance with framework requirements.
• Set up and maintain labs, safety inspections, tool control and consumables.
• Manage credentialing requirements: OSHA records and NABCEP status.
• Teach foundations and cover classes when needed.
• Review attendance and results; arrange tutoring and re-assessment as needed.
• Present curriculum and results to employer advisory group and act on recommendations.
