AOE International, a non-profit focused on community development, seeks a Training Manager to lead instruction for the CEJA Core Competencies and Career Pathways. You will oversee a team of instructors, build the cohort calendar, and ensure labs meet safety and credentialing requirements.

The role requires 5+ years in electrical/solar/construction trades or related training, curriculum design experience, and ability to mentor adult learners from underrepresented communities.

Qualificações

• Five or more years of experience in electrical, solar or construction trades or technical training.
• Experience designing curriculum, assessments or lab instruction for occupational training.
• Experience supervising instructors or leading a crew.
• Journeyman electrician status, NABCEP certification or equivalent credential preferred.
• Ability to connect with adult learners from underrepresented communities in the trades.

Responsabilidades

• Finalize lesson plans, assessments and labs aligned to updated Curriculum Frameworks.
• Build cohort calendar and training capacity plans with stakeholders.
• Hire, schedule, observe and coach instructors and ensure they meet requirements.
• Set up and maintain labs and ensure safety inspections and supply management.
• Manage credentialing requirements (OSHA outreach, First Aid/CPR/AED, NABCEP provider status).
• Teach the Construction Career Cluster foundation and cover classes when needed.
• Review attendance and results; arrange tutoring and re-teaching as needed.
• Present curriculum results to employer advisory group and act on recommendations.
