How will you make an impact?

We are seeking a Curriculum Specialist with extensive experience in K-12 Humanities, especially in ELA and/or Social Studies. Curriculum Specialists leverage their teaching background to become product experts and skilled presenters, understanding the needs of educators and students. They effectively communicate the value of McGraw Hill's educational resources, providing tailored solutions to enhance Humanities curricula in schools and districts. Passionate about education and dedicated to student success, they bridge innovative products with classroom needs.

Position Details

This is a remote position open to applicants authorized to work in the United States. The role requires traveling approximately 80% within your territory. Candidates must reside within 1 hour of a major airport in Texas and have a valid driver's license to travel by car.

Responsibilities
  1. Foster relationships and leverage knowledge to increase sales.
  2. Deliver compelling sales presentations and support pre- and post-sales activities, including strategy development and training.
  3. Maintain a thorough understanding of supported products and the educational landscape to meet revenue goals.
  4. Collaborate effectively with sales team members and work independently when needed.
  5. Stay current with educational trends, priorities, initiatives, and pedagogical knowledge.
Qualifications
  • B.A., B.S., M.A., or higher degree preferred.
  • At least 5 years of successful teaching experience; educational leadership at various levels is a plus.
  • Expertise in core and other curricula.
  • Experience in educational sales and support is desirable.
  • Proven ability to present to diverse audiences and provide education coaching.
  • Strong rapport-building and strategic response skills.
  • Proficiency with presentation technologies and multimedia delivery, both virtually and in-person.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs regularly.
  • Residence near a major metropolitan airport in Texas.
  • Fluent Spanish is a plus but not required.
