Job summary

Navy Federal Credit Union is seeking an instructional design professional to plan and manage learning initiatives across the organization. You will develop courses tailored to learner needs, sequence content, and create curricula by rapidly processing large information volumes and researching subject matter.

The role supports trainers, collaborates with teams to design curricula, and refreshes training materials throughout their lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Applicants should adapt to fluctuating workflows and communicate clearly.
• Experience evaluating course effectiveness and learning products.
• Experience researching and writing course content and developing courses, graphics, and tech-driven products.
• Advanced knowledge of instructional theories and educational psychology.

Responsibilities

• Advise and assist trainers on course evaluation results.
• Collaborate to plan and design courses and curricula; ensure accuracy of content and test multimedia elements.
• Conduct needs assessment to customize training and improve performance.
• Create and edit LMS activities; set up training assignments and insert custom LMS reports.
• Develop instructional strategies and courses for a business unit or cross-company products and skills.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of courses and delivery methods to achieve learning objectives.
• Train internal teams on effective use of classroom materials including ILT and VILT environments.
