Job summary

Openkrill is seeking a Curriculum and Learning Design Manager to partner with the Director of Education & Training to craft curricula, design learning resources, and build courses in our LMS environments. You will shape content for adult learners across career readiness and AI literacy, exercising initiative and professional judgment with minimal supervision.

The role requires hands-on Canvas course-building, familiarity with LTI 1.3, and willingness to learn Blackboard/Brightspace.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education, instructional design, educational technology, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience developing curriculum and instructional materials for adult learners.
• Strong Canvas course-building skills and practical experience with LTI 1.3; Blackboard/Brightspace experience preferred.
• Excellent written and spoken English with professional client service.
• Proficiency with AI tools and strong research, editing, and design skills.
• Ability to work independently under guidance, with good prioritization.
• Familiarity with U.S. education or workforce development programs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Write, review, and adapt curriculum, learning activities, and assessments with the Director.
• Build and update course content, modules, assignments, and quizzes in Canvas; support Blackboard and Brightspace.
• Create and configure LTI content links, test access, and coordinate integration with technical teams.
• Use AI to develop and refine content, documents, and simple instructional media with quality checks.
• Join client meetings, map learning objectives to content, and communicate professionally with follow-through.
• Manage deadlines, incorporate feedback, and review materials before delivery.
