The University of Chicago is seeking an Assistant Director of Teaching and Learning in Chicago, IL, to join the Program Strategy and Innovation team. The role focuses on overseeing course production and delivery on Canvas, developing new programs, and tailoring existing ones for in-person and hybrid formats.

Reporting to the Director, the ideal candidate will design engaging adult-learning experiences, collaborate across faculty and partners, and ensure the LMS runs smoothly with a strong focus

Qualificações

• Minimum requirements include a college or university degree in a related field.
• Experience with Canvas and learning technologies is essential.
• Strong project management skills and ability to handle multiple deadlines.

Responsabilidades

• Designs and develops online, hybrid, and in-person learning experiences grounded in adult learning theory and accessibility standards.
• Collaborates with faculty, instructors, and subject matter experts to create engaging learning activities and assessments.
• Manages course revisions, evaluations, and continuous improvements based on learner feedback and program goals.
• Ensures course materials meet accessibility standards (WCAG) and QA expectations.
• Coordinates lifecycle of certificate programs in Canvas and resolves delivery issues prior to releases.
