Job summary

Detroit Public Schools Community District is seeking a Curriculum Leader for College and Career-Connected Learning to guide the Seminar, Advisory, and Dual Enrollment Lab curricula. The role includes districtwide professional learning, coaching cycles, and data-driven instruction support for high schools.

The incumbent will oversee instructional design, analysis of student data, and collaboration with school teams and central staff to improve college and career readiness across DPSCD’s High

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field is required.
• Master's degree in Education or related field is preferred.
• Valid teaching certificate is required in Michigan.
• Experience designing or leading high school curriculum and advisory programs.
• Ability to analyze student data to inform instruction and interventions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and collaborate with teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and districtwide implementation of Seminar, Advisory, and Dual Enrollment Lab curricula.
• Develop guidance and resources for Ninth-Grade Success Teams to monitor progress.
• Develop WIN block activities and resources, including virtual tutoring.
• Design professional learning and coaching cycles for teachers.
• Monitor student performance data and inform interventions.
