RFCUNY Research Foundation of the City University of New York seeks a Curriculum Developer/Trainer to lead learning product development for DHS-related programs, delivering virtual and in-person sessions and supporting quality improvement across learning products.

Reporting to the Deputy Director of Learning and Development, you will collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders, design engaging curricula, and ensure training objectives are met in a fast-paced, public service

Qualifications

• Three years of full-time work experience in curriculum development, including needs analysis, storyboarding, pre/post-assessments, and evaluation in a training and staff development environment.
• Two years of experience facilitating professional learning, adult learning, or higher education.
• Two years of Articulate Storyline 360/Rise or similar eLearning application experience required.
• Two years of managing training, curriculum or procedure projects with a history of successful implementation.
• Exceptional writing skills, used daily in email, project summaries, procedures, and course development resources.
• Ability to engage and manage learners with differing needs and abilities across various training modes.
• Knowledge of government operations, human services, and/or shelter programs, a plus.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, and maintain learning programs and products such as eLearnings, microlearnings and instructor-led trainings (virtual and in-person).
• Leverage adult learning principles to design and deploy eLearning and other modes of training for highly technical procedures and processes.
• Apply project management practices to collaborate and coordinate with other facilitators, developers, and program management team to execute project deliverables and implement learning products.
• Use a variety of instructional design tools, such as Articulate, Vyond, Adobe Express, and others to develop creative and engaging digital learning experiences.
• Analyze and synthesize complex content needed to produce comprehensive curricula, facilitator and participant guides, and other learning resources.
• Lead and coordinate project deliverables and work within defined project plan timelines.
• Complete quality assurance reviews to ensure products meet quality standards and expectations.
• When scheduled, support and/or facilitate learning programs virtually and in-person at training locations.
• Apply adult learning principles for engagement and retention; foster effective learning environments for participants, and tailor instructional best practices.
• Complete onboarding for standardized learning programs.
• Complete training preparation, delivery, and post-session activities, including required reports and communications with internal admin and support teams.
• Ensure participants meet training objectives and complete activities in accordance with approved curriculum and learning outcomes.
• Perform day-to-day operational responsibilities, including the set-up and closeout of learning spaces and virtual training platforms.
• Represent the ILS brand with internal and external stakeholders in meetings, events, and conferences.
• Participate in continuous learning activities independently and as assigned.
• Demonstrate partnership and leadership among peers and teams.
• Complete ongoing professional development.
• Other related duties as assigned.
