Job summary

Carteret Community College in Morehead City, NC is accepting applications for an Instructional Affairs Coordinator to support instructional compliance and accreditation activities.

You will lead curriculum review, coordinate program reviews, and assist with NCCCS compliance, course materials, and schedule planning. This role also involves teaching two courses per semester in a general education discipline and serving on college committees.

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience participating in institutional accreditation activities.
• Three years teaching experience using a Learning Management System.
• Preferred: Three years teaching experience in the NCCCS using a Learning Management System and familiarity with the NCCCS Curriculum Procedures Reference Manual.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Curriculum Review Committee with the VP, Instruction and Student Support.
• Oversee annual reviews of live projects, patron, course and instructional fees.
• Draft instructional calendars and coordinate with leadership to post three years of calendars.
• Oversee updating the curriculum catalog annually.
• Manage the Program Review schedule.
• Coordinate program pinning dates.
• Assist with collection and review of student learning and program outcomes.
• Assist Accreditation Liaison and Committee with changes, notifications and renewal activities.
• Ensure Faculty Roster Forms and credential packets are up to date.
• Assist with new program approvals, including market analysis and needs assessments.
• Coordinate materials for NCCCS Compliance Review of instructional programs.
• Lead annual Lay Advisory Handbook review and document meetings.
• Ensure syllabi, faculty handbook and course review forms are current.
• Serve on Distance Learning Committee and ensure online course reviews are ongoing.
• Teach two courses each semester in a general education discipline.
• Serve on college committees and attend events.
