Meijer Inc. is seeking a Digital Clerk to fulfill online curbside orders, delivering a seamless pickup experience. You will engage customers with a friendly, proactive attitude while ensuring accurate fulfillment and payment collection at the curbside.

The role requires strong communication, a customer-first approach, and the ability to learn new technologies quickly. Availability on Sundays and Mondays is essential, with opportunities for growth within a family-oriented retailer.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-first approach.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience; prior retail experience preferred.
• Past cashier experience preferred.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable.

Responsibilities

• Provide remarkable service at the curbside pickup area through accurate order fulfillment and payment collection.
• Greet each customer with a courteous, friendly attitude (in person and on the phone) and respond to questions and needs.
• Maintain positive working relationships with customers, team members and leadership.
• Resolve customer concerns quickly by partnering with leadership when needed.
• Receive daily workflow through a dashboard and fulfill orders throughout the shift.
• Store and stage orders correctly while following food safety guidelines.
• Keep the curbside area clean, neat, and ready for the next pickup.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
