Avenue5 Residential is seeking a Porter to maintain grounds, exteriors, leasing office, tour paths, parking lots and related areas. You will maximize marketing appeal while delivering exceptional resident service.

Responsibilities include daily cleaning, trash removal, market-ready unit prep, and safety-conscious maintenance. Must possess a high school diploma and a valid driver’s license with clean record; strong customer service skills required.

Qualifications

• Reading and writing English required.
• Ability to operate general office equipment.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Ability to de-escalate difficult situations and maintain confidentiality.
• Professional appearance and compliance with uniform policy.
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record and current auto insurance.
• Complete Avenue5 Fair Housing, Diversity and Inclusion Training within 30 days.
• Ability to shovel snow and operate a snow blower when needed.

Responsibilities

• Remove trash and debris from office areas and property perimeter daily.
• Assist in preparing market-ready units.
• Pressure wash exterior buildings, sidewalks and related areas.
• Assist with property emergencies (snow, weather events, fires, floods).
• Clean available apartments, model homes and common areas as directed.
• Address property maintenance concerns related to weather conditions.
• Maintain highest standards of cleanliness and curb appeal; interact professionally with residents.
• Preserve confidentiality of applicants and residents.
• Foster positive relationships with residents and other properties.
• Report maintenance and life-safety issues promptly.
