Job summary

Providence College's PC Galleries (PCG) seeks a part-time Project Manager & Curatorial Assistant to support CROSSINGS: Wilderness Journeys through Art, Care, and Community. The temporary role runs Oct 18, 2026 through Jun 30, 2027, averaging ~22 hours per week, reporting to the Director & Chief Curator and collaborating with campus partners and lenders.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or equivalent in a relevant field or experience.
• Experience coordinating exhibitions or complex projects.
• Strong organizational and project-management abilities.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency with standard office and collaboration tools.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate information and deadlines with exhibition design, lighting, fabrication, and other project specialists.
• Support exhibition planning and implementation in collaboration with PCG staff.
• Assist with planning and implementation of project meetings, information sessions, workshops, and related engagement activities.
• Provide public programming coordination for CROSSINGS opening, symposium, and related programs.
• Coordinate production deadlines for the Crossings Reflection Guide.
• Support communication and scheduling with campus and community partners.
• Gather and organize project information, images, credits, schedules for marketing and communications.
• Assist with organizing project documentation and media for final reporting and archival purposes.
