Job summary

Providence College is seeking a temporary, part-time Project Manager & Curatorial Assistant for the CROSSINGS project (Oct 18, 2026 – Jun 30, 2027). The role supports collaboration among artists, lenders, campus partners, and consultants, handling exhibition logistics, materials, and communications.

Responsibilities include research, drafting exhibition texts, coordinating events, and assisting with documentation and reporting for the program. Weekend/evening work may be required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in art history, museum studies, curatorial studies, arts administration, visual arts, humanities, or related field.
• Professional experience coordinating exhibitions, programs, projects, or other complex collaborative initiatives.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate exhibition and program logistics for CROSSINGS: Wilderness Journeys through Art, Care, and Community.
• Plan and implement meetings, workshops, and public programs; manage schedules and travel arrangements.
• Gather and organize project materials, documentation, and communications for reporting and archiving.
