POSITIONSUMMARY:

The Credit Lounge Representative guidescustomerssmoothlythroughthe creditapplicationprocess, educatescustomersoncredit ingeneraland Curacaoservicesandbenefits,inparticularandhelpsthecustomertonavigateandaddressanycreditaccountissues they may have.This position is the frequently the first and main customer contact in-store and plays a key role in providing an unforgettable experience to both new and existing customers.

ESSENTIALFUNCTIONS:

• Greetandguidecustomersthroughthecreditapplicationprocessinthecreditlounge,troubleshootingasnecessary,whether customers use conduct an application through the credit kiosk, the credit tablet or using the paper application.
• Workwithcustomerstoidentifyandtakeactiononproblemswiththeiraccounts,keepingthecustomerinformedandengaged throughout the process.
• Educate customers on how credit works, how the different types of credit accounts at Curacao function and which types of behaviorsandchoicescanhelptohurtorharmtheirowncreditscore.HelpthecustomertodeterminewhichoftheCuracao accounts best fits their habits and needs.
• MaintainastrongunderstandingofCuracaocreditproductsandservices(accounts,insurance,paperlessenrollment,etc.)and be prepared to explain their features and benefits to customers.
• TakeownershipofthelookandfeeloftheCreditLounge,keepingthearea clean,ensuringthefurnitureandinstallationsarein good working order and reporting any major issues to the Credit Assistant Store Manager.
• Monitortheperformanceofcreditapplicationandaccountmanagementsystemsandpromptlyreportanyissuesthrough appropriate channels.
• Stayinformed ofandcomplycloselyto internalcreditpoliciesandprocedures toensurecompanycompliance withstateand federal laws governing consumer credit and protect sensitive customer information.
• Greetcustomerswithawarmsmileandfriendlygreetingwhenevertheywalkwithintenfeetofyou.
• Beresponsiveandtakeownershipofanycustomerissuesincollaborationwithyourmanager.
• Pitchinwithanyothertasksyourmanagermayrequestyourhelpwithaspartofbasicstoreoperations.
