Job summary

Beecher School District is seeking a dedicated professional to support behavior intervention and restorative practices within the school. The role focuses on maintaining a positive classroom culture and providing a safe, reflective environment for students in need of guidance.

You will collaborate with staff to implement the culture plan, participate in SST meetings, and assist in data collection for behavioral activities. Strong confidentiality and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Must pass criminal record and background clearance.
• Must comply with Student Safety Initiative Legislation.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside behavior interventionist with restorative practice.
• Maintain a positive room environment for students.
• Provide a safe, reflective environment for students aligned with culture plan and student handbook.
• Support teachers and staff in implementing the culture plan.
• Work with SST (Student Success Team).
• Assist in data collection related to culture plan and behavioral activities.
• Establish relations with students, staff and parents to increase engagement.
• Participate in professional development opportunities.
• Maintain confidentiality at all times.
