Job summary

HuFriedyGroup in Englewood, CO is seeking a Laboratory Technician to perform data entry and processing of biological indicator spore strip tests in a high-volume culture lab. You will label, transfer, and prepare samples, operate fill machines, and ensure proper incubation according to SOPs.

The role requires attention to detail, basic lab experience, and ability to work as part of a team. First shift from 7:00am to 3:30pm with benefits including healthcare, vision, dental, and PTO.

Qualifications

• Experience in a laboratory operation or technical/scientific field.
• Basic knowledge of aseptic laboratory techniques is preferred.
• Willingness to learn and work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Sorts and labels test envelopes and performs data entry based on information provided in envelope.
• Aseptically transfer spore strips into test tubes.
• Operates fill machines and ensures proper media fill into tubes, including setup and breakdown.
• Follows SOPs to ensure appropriate incubation protocol.
• Removes samples from incubators and visually examines for bacterial growth.
• Routine cleaning of laboratory glassware and equipment.
• Daily monitoring of incubator temperatures.
• Other duties as assigned, including onboarding and cross-training of lab technicians.
