Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a dedicated Specimen Processing and Accessioning technician to join the Englewood, CO team. You will prepare laboratory specimens for analysis, unpack and route them, identify and label samples, and support accurate data entry to enable timely testing.

This on-site role requires the ability to lift up to 40lbs, work in a team, and meet department production goals. A High School Diploma or GED and at least 1 year of lab or healthcare experience are preferred; MS Office skills

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testing.
• Unpack and route specimens to their respective staging areas.
• Accurately identify and label specimens.
• Pack and ship specimens to proper testing facilities.
• Meet department activity and production goals.
• Properly prepare and store excess specimen samples.
• Data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Resolve and document any problem specimens.
