Job summary

Airbus Commercial Aircraft seeks a Culture & Engagement Specialist (Contract) to join our HR team in Herndon, VA or Mobile, AL. The role drives programs shaping culture, engagement, and employee retention across ~10,000 employees, serving as a bridge between employees, HR Partners, and leadership.

Key focus areas include Inclusion & Belonging advocacy, program strategy, employee listening, and regional engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive HR experience with a passion for DEI.
• Strong project management skills including managing internal stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to problem-solve and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• HRBP experience preferred.
• Experience in Aerospace preferred.
• Experience in a multi-functional international environment preferred.
• SHRM CP or PHR preferred.
• Proficient with office productivity software.
• Google Workspace preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as a primary liaison and support resource for Employee Resource Groups (ERGs).
• Ensure governance and processes are communicated and adhered to; champion ERG initiatives.
• Project manage and deploy initiatives within the C&E portfolio to enhance workplace culture and engagement.
• Coordinate quarterly KPI reporting, action planning and results tracking; manage internal communications with HR colleagues.
• Support deployment of employee feedback and listening tools to drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with local site representatives to design and execute engagement initiatives at site and regional levels.
