The State of Indiana's Adjutant General's Office seeks a Cultural Resources Branch Chief to manage archaeologic and historic resources, implement the Integrated Cultural Resource Management Plan, and oversee field investigations. The role requires leading a team, coordinating with federal and state regulations, and ensuring compliance across programs.

Required is a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least seven years of relevant experience, including two years in leadership; candidates

Formación

  • Thorough knowledge of Environmental Management theories and principles.
  • Working knowledge of OSHA safety practices.
  • Strong understanding of federal/state environmental regulations.
  • Ability to set long- and short-term project goals and objectives.
  • Excellent written and oral communication with stakeholders.
  • Ability to coordinate a work unit and review technical reports.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Environmental Policy, Chemistry, Biology, Geology, Public Health or related field; 7+ years of professional experience; 2+ years in leadership.

Responsabilidades

  • Plan and manage environmental programs to meet state goals.
  • Develop section activity plans including daily workflows and budgets.
  • Provide technical support for policy and rule development.
  • Represent the agency in meetings with external customers and stakeholders.
